Jacqueline Taïeb & Amsterdam Beatclub – 7h du Soir / Partir à Amsterdam

This mini-album was recorded with the Amsterdam Beatclub, a collective of Dutch 60’s enthusiasts who give Jacqueline’s songs the backing they deserve without making them sound too modern and shiny. It was released in 2007, exactly 40 years after her first hit ‘7 Heures du Matin’ to which the title track ‘7h du Soir’ relates.

(Shindig Magazine) “The organ and sax work well on 'Partir à Amsterdam', a really strong tune. 'Juste un peu d'amour' has cool electric sitar, sax and percussion interplay which give it a great Middle Eastern feel.”
